When an annotation is created to the left, it cannot be selected

Steps to reproduce the bug (only confirmed on Linux):

1. Move the cursor to the middle of the timeline
2. Type Enter
3. Type the Left arrow several times
4. Type Enter
5. Choose a label

Result: The created annotation cannot be double-clicked.
