Better rendering of the timescale of the timeline

There are two issues with the timescale in the timeline.

  • The number of ticks must be dynamically adjusted, both when it is created and when the size of the windows is changed. Otherwise, the tick labels will overlap, making the scale unreadable in some situations:

  • When the timeline is zoomed, the ticks and tick labels must be redrawn, otherwise they will appear distorted (this may be related to issue #9 (closed):
